Miles was always an outstanding prospect as he moved through the age groups in the Avon minis and juniors. His talents and work rate have been rewarded as part of the incredible Bath team that achieved the treble this season.
Whilst playing for the Avon youngsters through the early 2010s, Miles was instrumental in their success as they reached the Somerset Under 16s final in 2014, whilst Miles himself picked up representative honours for Somerset, the South West and England under 16s.
Miles's father Mark Reid had previously played for Avon back in 1992 after a spell at Bath himself before going on to coach the Avon minis and juniors.
But Miles wasn't the first ex Avon junior to lift the Premiership trophy - that honour belonged to Freddie Burns who scored the winning drop goal for Leicester in the 2022 final. Freddie played for our youngsters throughout the first part of the 2000s alongside his brothers before eventually being capped by England.
But back to Miles - many congratulations from Avon RFC on a monumental performance throughout an historic season for Bath Rugby and our continued best wishes for the future.
