Our 1st team scrum half is a youngster who has come up through the Avon youth ranks and who is currently travelling back each week from Cardiff University to play for the Club. He currently sits at the top of the try scorers list with 6 touchdowns from his 10 matches played. But it is his general play that warrants this award, forever snapping at the heels of his pack, sending out a steady service to his fly half, making sniping darts through the opposing defence and, perhaps more than anything, making a series of vital covering tackles to thwart the opponents’ attacks.
