The current heatwave and drought-like conditions have left huge cracks and holes across all 3 pitches. We have been trying to fill these with sand and soil but eventually realised that our efforts would prove futile in view of their size and the scale of the problem.
We apologise to all the teams who have entered and the spectators who were planning to come along but we really had no choice in these extreme conditions. Steps are in hand to refund the team entry fees.
But we will be back with this event next year when hopefully it will be another successful tournament.
