….with Scott Book embarking on his 3rd season as Club Captain, with Kai Harwood continuing as Coach and Clive Book extending his role as Director of Rugby. Off the field, Ian Monachino-Ayres remains Chairman, whilst Paul Kirby continues as Secretary and Treasurer. Tony Mutlow is again President with his sons Chris acting as fixture sec and Dan as clubhouse manager.

The only significant change occurred with Prince Louis Belsten of Hartcliffe taking over the reins as 2nd team captain with his team again taking part in the successful Bath Combination Merit table.

The 1st team meanwhile continue in the Somerset Premier league, looking to build on last season’s 3rd place finish. Pre-season training resumes on Thursday 5th July at 7pm at their Hicks Field ground off the London Road and continues on Tuesdays and Thursdays thereafter. Any new players, looking for serious or social rugby, will be made most welcome at Avon.
