We are hosting a Girls Tag Festival at Hicks Field on Thursday 26th April. Any spectators welcome.

This will feature around 100 girls aged between 9 and 11 years old from 9 different schools. The schools involved include:
Chandag Juniors
Midsomer Norton Primary
Oldfield Park Juniors
Paulton Juniors
Peasedown St John
Saltford
St Nicholas
St Saviours Juniors (2 teams)
Westfield

The event will run from 1pm to 4pm using 4 separate pitches and any spectators are welcome to come along to watch the youngsters in action. Dave Burston, the BANES primary schools sports coordinator, is managing the festival for the girls, supported by Avon’s schools liaison officer, Andie Parry who said “This festival will build on the preliminary event that we staged last season, which proved so enjoyable to all the participants. It is also the forerunner of our own Avon schools festival that we will be running in October for our eastern cluster of primary schools, plus other local schools in the wider Bath area.”
